Fast Talker  - chaotic jewellery and workshops for the beading curious.

I'm Lauren. A lifelong beader and collector.

I kicked off my beading adventures as a kid, beading with my mum and sister on the kitchen table. Fast foward to a new millenium, and I was making necklaces and bracelets for candy ravers to dance the night away in the early 2000s. I picked up my pliers and beads again while living in San Francisco and helping my friend who worked at an old-school bead store in the city's Castro district. It was during Covid that I again dusted off the beading kit and started cranking out colourful gems for friends' birthdays, this time sourcing rare and wonderful beads from all over the globe.

Since then, people have asked if I had a website or where they could get one of my silly creations. So now... we're going legit. We have a website, a Shopify store, and even an @fasttalker.com.au email address. It must be serious. 

All Fast Talker pieces are one-of-a-kind, lovingly hand-made on my kitchen or coffee table while watching eps of Drag Race or Hacks.

We're small-batch and slow-moving. Get in touch if you want a custom piece for yourself or as a gift. Who knows where we'll go next.
